Between Ink and Sweat: Drawing Erotic Comics in the Midsummer
Who said drawing erotic comics was relaxing?
Try inking a scene featuring an orgy between Solaine and some Drow while sweat drips between your shoulder blades and your tablet sticks to your thighs like a clingy lover 💦
Summer is unforgiving. Not even to erotic artists.
Luckily, I’m off again.
I’m in Corsica travelling, and even though I never stop drawing and designing, I’m trying to survive the heat with dips in secret coves, painting watercolours in the shade of maritime pines and enjoying a few bites of paradise (with double custard, of course)!
I don’t know if I got dirtier with these or at that table with the three drow… 😜
Spoiler: even the pastries are licked off with gusto!
At the beach, I took out my sketchbook and watercolours. Sand seeped between the pages and the brush absorbed more salt than water. I discovered that painting sweaty hips under the scorching sun was almost cathartic.
(My characters asked me for a break, but I said no.)
Between one enchanted village and another (the kind that seem to have come out of a fantasy novel set in a fictional Corsica), I also had a supernatural encounter:
Scooby Doo. He still had a look that seemed to scream, ‘I never should have opened that NSFW link.’
He probably just saw this month’s YCH on my Patreon.
I don’t blame him; my legs still shake when I see it, too.
I’m also working on a new project, and taking mental notes for Solaine’s next stories while I swim.
Every now and then, I admit, I lie in the sun and let the breeze on my skin inspire me.
Just as I’m writing this travel diary, I’ve received some FABULOUS NEWS! I can’t wait to share it with you, but unfortunately, you’ll have to wait until next month.
